Adweek is using their August issue to honor the women founders, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Opal Tometi, of the grassroots organization, Black Lives Matter. They founded BLM in 2013 after the killing of Trayvon Martin, and it has since turned into a massive global movement that defines a generation.
